![]() Stayed here for not quite a week with friends on a semi annual gathering of old friends. Won't be surprised if this hotel / casino is sold within the next year. My advice to anyone looking to book, dont bother, there is much better :(… we ALWAYS book our rooms many months in advance, yet the NEVER seem able to accommodate ant requests, such as rooms close to the lifts for my elderly Dad and my sister who has mobility issue. The reception staff have ALWAYS been a little tetchy, somehting of a standing joke in our family as we always feel so unwelcome as British people visiting the states. the casino didnt seem to be paying out on the slots, we fared much better in the other casino's along Casino Drive. Room wasnt cleaned much before 3pm most days, so a few times we had to go without a clean, as we were in the room after being out for the day. too many things wrong with this place now to make it worth the money. so that make 2 bottle of water, 2 pods of coffee and fridge use VERY expensive!!!!! We were not told on check in that the pool and spa were closed, we found out when we went to use them. the problem i had with paying this was that both pool and spa were closed for maintenance for our whole stay. This is apparently to cover pool towels, 2 coffee pods a day, 2 small bottles of water a day, the refrigerator thats in the room, the use of the pool and the hot tub. Despite the lack of investment in thier hotel, they have increased the prices, and after covid they introduced a resort tax, which increased this year to 12.99 dollars a night plus tax. thick dust in the bedside table, thick dust on the floor under the bed, and crumbs left in the drawers. the rooms have not been redecorated since i started coming here, and unfortunately the room was also dirty. The place is desperate for a refurb/update. I have been staying at this hotel for over 18 years, every march and october and can honestly say that this is the last time for me.
